For large areas or slopes, these groundcovers have a trailing habit that provides quick coverage once the plants are well established. Some, like Myoporum, root as they touch the soil and can be spaced further apart to achieve good coverage. These generally make excellent soil stabilizers. Most benefit from occasional pruning.
