Juniper Varieties

Easy to grow Junipers are conifers that produce berry-like fruit instead of cones and their leaves are scale-like. Varieties can be tall and tree-like or low growing for use as ground covers. Taller pyramidal forms make excellent screens, windbreaks or barriers. Columnar forms are often trained into topiary forms such as spirals and cones. Some mid-sized varieties are formed into pompons and bonsai forms. Use Junipers as accents, hedges or foundation plants. Junipers are drought tolerant once established. They are tolerant of most soils, but prefer good drainage. Below we list our most popular varieties.
