Favorite Trees

Trees in the garden serve many purposes. They add beauty and interest to the landscape, provide shade and a cooling effect in hot areas, and are refuges for birds and other wildlife. There is a tree for every situation in the landscape and care should be taken to match the right tree to the right application, providing plenty of room for them to reach their full potential. Deciduous trees are bare for a few months in Southern California, yet many produce year-round interest with fall color and bloom.
